Steps to Homeownership
Buying a New Home Made Simple
Owning a new home should be exciting, not overwhelming. At Seeno Homes, our team guides you through each stage of the process, from selecting the right homesite to receiving the keys on move in day.
Whether you're purchasing your first home or your next home, you'll have experienced professionals available to answer questions, explain next steps, and help keep everything moving forward.
Step-by-Step Guide
1
Step 1: Find the Right Home and Community
Explore new home communities throughout Contra Costa, Solano, and Yolo Counties. Compare floorplans, homesites, pricing, and community amenities to find a home that fits your lifestyle, budget, and future plans.
2
Step 2: Get Pre-Qualified
Meeting with our trusted preferred lender helps determine your purchasing power and financing options. A pre-qualification gives you confidence as you shop and helps streamline the purchase process once you've selected a home.
3
Step 3: Sign the Purchase Agreement
Once you've selected your home, our sales team will review pricing, included features, timelines, and purchase documents with you. We take the time to ensure you understand every step before moving forward.
4
Step 4: Personalize Your Home at the Design Center
Visit the Seeno Homes Design Center to select cabinetry, countertops, flooring, fixtures, and finishes. This is where your new home begins to reflect your personal style and preferences.
5
Step 5: Finalize Financing
Your lender will guide you through the loan approval process while our team works behind the scenes to coordinate important milestones. We stay in communication throughout construction and financing to help keep everything on track.
6
Step 6: Attend Your New Home Orientation
Before closing, you'll walk through your new home with our team and learn about its features, systems, and maintenance requirements. This is also an opportunity to ask questions and become familiar with your new home.
7
Step 7: Close and Move In
After final loan approval and closing, you'll receive the keys to your new home. While move in day marks the end of the purchase process, our commitment to customer care continues long after closing.
